We are immensely proud to share that Florin Gabor Studio was chosen by Cooke Optics to produce a remarkable photo and video documentary for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® ceremony. This esteemed collaboration marked a significant moment in Cooke Optics’ journey, as on the 9th of February 2013, they were honored with an Academy Award® of Merit. The award recognized their unwavering commitment to innovation in the design, development, and manufacturing of motion picture camera lenses.
The video teaser, created by our studio, made a captivating appearance during the Academy Awards ceremony, stirring excitement among the audience. Subsequently, the full version of the documentary was presented during the prestigious Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony hosted by the Academy. It was an extraordinary opportunity to showcase the dedication and brilliance of Cooke Optics to a distinguished gathering of industry professionals.
