Burdge Cooper / Photography

Back in 1923, Charles Leroy Burdge laid the foundation for the Burdge Engraving Company, while  Stuart Cooper established his own Stuart F. Cooper Company in 1929, inheriting the printing equipment from Milton G. Cooper & Son. These two names quickly became synonymous with excellence in the field of graphic arts. Recognizing their shared vision and passion, Burdge Cooper was formed on July 1, 2010, merging the legacies of these two pioneering companies.
Dare to be made had the distinct privilege of being commissioned to showcase the impressive portfolio and captivating stories of Burdge Cooper in the vibrant cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Through our collaboration, as photographer, I sought to capture the essence of their expertise, craftsmanship, and innovation, highlighting their rich history while bringing their compelling narratives to life. It was an extraordinary endeavor to visually showcase the legacy and achievements of Burdge Cooper, paying homage to their enduring impact in the world of graphic arts.
