The Trotsky / Movie title

In 2009, Fidel Studio entrusted me with a unique and exciting opportunity: to conceptualize, art direct, design, and animate the titles for a thought-provoking movie. The film revolved around a Montreal high school student who, driven by a belief in his own reincarnation as Leon Trotsky, embarks on a revolutionary quest to combat apathy among his fellow students. Drawing inspiration from the film’s captivating narrative and its exploration of youthful idealism, I embarked on the creative process to craft titles that would capture the essence of the story. Through careful art direction, thoughtful design choices, and dynamic animation techniques, I aimed to encapsulate the film’s themes and engage the audience right from the opening moments. Working closely with Fidel Studio, we collaborated to bring this vision to life, ensuring that the titles served as a compelling introduction to the movie’s powerful message. It was an exhilarating experience to contribute to a project that explores themes of revolution, idealism, and the pursuit of change, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have played a part in its visual storytelling.
